Dear all,
Personally and on behalf of the organizing committee, we are pleased
to invite you to the 7th Annual Conference of the Indian Association of
Geriatric Mental Health being held at the Hotel Sandesh the Prince,
Nazarbad, Mysore from 30th Sept 2011 to 1st Oct 2011. The theme for
the conference is "Old Age: Intimacy Matters" along with many topics
of relevance concerning geriatric psychiatry. In view of the theme a
pre-conference workshop on "Elderly Sexuality" is being organized on
29th Sept 2011 which is open to all the registered delegates so also
those who are interested to attend workshop exclusively. We are
enlisting the stalwarts in the field to provide the skills for professional
practice in sexuality in general and elderly sexuality in particular. We
are expecting good number of delegates to make it a grand success.
The City of Mysore is the cultural capital of Karnataka. This Royal city
is known for its palaces, avenues and gardens depicting the beauty
which is majestic, mystical and mesmerizing. The city is also know for pleasant
salubrious climate throughout the year. Tourism occupies a very
prominent place in the life of this city.
